The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns have both released their lists of inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at FirstEnergy Stadium and when it comes to the visiting team, there are no real surprises.
The Steelers ruled out wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot), running back DeAngelo Williams (knee) and safety Shamarko Thomas (groin) on their Friday injury report and all three players are inactive on Sunday.
Joining those three players on this week’s inactive list are quarterback Zach Mettenberger, tackle Brian Mihalik, tight end Xavier Grimble and safety Jordan Dangerfield. Grimble and Dangerfield both ended the week listed as questionable on the Steelers injury report. Mettenberger and Mihalik are both healthy scratches.
After being activated to the Steelers 53-man roster from the Reserve/Injured list on Saturday, linebacker Bud Dupree is active on Sunday. Additionally, running back Daryl Richardson is active against the Browns after being signed off the team’s practice squad on Saturday.
