The Pittsburgh Steelers will be releasing their list of seven inactive players in about 30 minutes and even though he is presumably healthy, wide receiver Markus Wheaton is expected to be included on it.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Wheaton is not expected to dress for Sunday’s road game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Wheaton, who has already missed several games so far this season due to a shoulder injury, reportedly practiced fully every day this past week.
With Wheaton expected to be sidelined Sunday, there’s a good chance wide receiver Cobi Hamilton will dress and play against the Ravens.
Wheaton, who is in the final year of his rookie contract, has only caught 4 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown so far this season.
We will have the Steelers full inactive list posted in 30 minutes.
