Happy Black Friday to all of you and I hope none of you had to get out in any of this mess.
The Pittsburgh Steelers made it a great Thanksgiving for us with their road win over the Indianapolis Colts. It’s hard to believe that was their first win on Thanksgiving since 1950.
While this 2016 Steelers team certainly has plenty of warts, they still have a very good chance at winning the AFC North. They might even be able to accomplish that goal without winning out as long as they win all of their divisional games. Regardless, 6-5 with five games to go is better than 5-6.
I don’t know about you, but I look forward to this Sunday as I will be able to watch several games without having to worry about covering the Steelers. It’s like a mini bye for blahgers as well.
Well, my wife will be home from her month-long trip to Florida on Monday and then two weeks from Thursday we will travel to California to adopt our new puppy. December will certainly be an interesting month for us.
As usual, I have five questions below for you to answer on this Friday night, but first wanted to remind you to watch or tape the Chuck Noll ‘A Football Life’ that will debut this evening on the NFL Network. I really look forward to seeing it.
Happy Holidays to all of you and thank you for stopping by the site this week.
Peace and love, peace and love!
1 – Has your opinion of Steelers safety Mike Mitchell changed any over the course of the last two weeks? Many fans want him released after the season concludes but personally, I can’t see that happening.
2 – Being as it is Black Friday, if I gave you money to buy one Steelers player a Christmas gift, who would you shop for and what would you buy him? $1,000 limit.
3 – Now that the Steelers have won their last two games, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when thinking about what has transpired over the course of the last two weeks?
4 – How many receptions will wide receivers Eli Rogers, Sammie Coates and Cobi Hamilton combine to have in the Steelers final five regular season games?
5 – Predict the final score of Sunday’s game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens.
