Another week has come and gone and Week 5 of the 2016 NFL regular season is already underway. The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the New York Jets Sunday at Heinz Field and enter the contest as heavy favorites even though they currently sport a very long list of injured players. Even so, the Jets will be without several key starters on Sunday as well.
A Steelers win would result in a 4-1 record with two weeks to go before their bye. While Sunday isn’t a must-win for the Steelers, it’s a game that most of us expect them to win. As usual, we look forward to covering this upcoming game for you from top to bottom and thankfully this one will be played early on Sunday.
As usual, I have five questions for you to answer on this lazy Friday night and I hope several of you will provide me with some entertainment by doing just that in the comments below.
Have a great weekend and peace and love to all of you.
1 – Will you be more disappointed in Steelers offense if they don’t score 24 or more points against the Jets, or the defense if they allow 24 or more points to New York?
2 – On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being very confident, how would you currently rate your confidence in the Steelers defense entering Week 5?
3 – How many total touches and total yards from scrimmage will Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell have against the Jets?
4 – The Steelers will wear their 1934 bumblebee throwbacks for a final time Sunday at Heinz Field against the Jets. Let me know how you have felt about these alternate uniforms dating back to their inception in 2012. In other words, have you loved/hated them the entire time, or did you hate them at first only to have them grow on you?
5 – True or false: Sammie Coates will not only have 80 or more yards receiving Sunday against the Jets, he’ll also register his first career touchdown during the game.
