Season 7, Episode 15 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I get right to discussing what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say on Tuesday during his press conference in addition to talking about the current health of linebacker Ryan Shazier, who is currently dealing with a knee injury that he suffered during the second half of the team’s Monday night opener against the Washington Redskins.
After going over the Steelers initial injury report for Week 2 ahead of the team’s Wednesday practice, David and I wonder if Tomlin will dress all five wide receivers Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. If only four dress for that game, I tell you who I think might be the odd man out, assuming all five are healthy enough to play.
Somehow we get on the discussion of wide receiver 40 times as it relates to the Steelers five wide receivers and that results in us having a question for our listeners.
David and I then proceed to put our finishing touches on the Steelers win over the Redskins and discuss a few more minor talking points to close out the first half of the show and that includes us going over some deep passing stats of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
In the second part of this Wednesday show, I am joined by Paul Dehner Jr., who covers the Bengals for the Cincinnati Enquirer. I get his insights on the upcoming game as we talk about the Bengals offense and defense ahead of the Sunday’s AFC North matchup.
