Season 7, Episode 22 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report from Thursday and how the team will have tough choices when it comes to setting their pre-game inactive list Sunday night.
Will the Steelers have to make a roster move on Saturday because of the finger injury suffered Thursday by offensive lineman B.J. Finney? We discuss that possibility as well as how the Steelers defense will likely feature several players who have to play a snap so far this season.
We move on to thoroughly discuss the Steelers upcoming Sunday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs. David and I both expect the Steelers offense to get back on track this weekend and especially being as running back Le’Veon Bell is now back from his three-game suspension. We also talk about how often we expect to see Bell and veteran running back DeAngelo Williams on the field together Sunday night as well.
The Steelers defense needs to rebound this weekend and with the Chiefs coming to town, David and I like the chances of that happening. We talk about Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith and the sacks he’s taken so far this season and how the Steelers defense should have success if they can keep the Kansas City offense behind the chains on early downs and win several of their one-on-one matchups.
We discuss a few snap to throw times from the Steelers loss last Sunday to the Philadelphia Eagles and how one throw early in that game from quarterback Carson Wentz really needs to be pointed out.
In the second half of this podcast David and I discuss the play of several young quarterbacks around the league so far this season and we cap things off by giving you our picks for all of the Week 4 games.
As usual, we save our Steelers game prediction for last to close out this Friday show and I make one bold stat prediction at the end.
