The Kansas City Chiefs have now released their Thursday injury report and it only includes one change from the one that the team released on Wednesday.
Sitting out again on Thursday for the Chiefs were linebacker Tamba Hali (knee, hand), cornerback Marcus Peters (illness), tackle Jah Reid (knee, ankle), and running back Charcandrick West (ankle). Additionally, after being limited on Wednesday, cornerback Phillip Gaines (knee) failed to practice on Thursday and that’s not a great sign for him.
Friday is setting up to be a very interesting day for Gaines, West and Reid as Hali and Peters are both expected to play Sunday night despite sitting out Wednesday and Thursday.
Limited for the Chiefs again on Thursday were running back Jamaal Charles (knee), guard Parker Ehinger (concussion). At this point it would be surprising if Charles makes his 2016 debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night and especially being as the Chiefs have a bye next week.
Practicing fully again on Thursday for the Chiefs were linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring) and guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (ankle).
