Much like the Pittsburgh Steelers, their opponents this week, the Kansas City Chiefs, enter Week 4 of the 2016 regular season with a long list of injured players. On Wednesday, the Chiefs first injury report of the week shows that four of their players failed to practice earlier in the day.
Sitting out Wednesday for the Chiefs were linebacker Tamba Hali (knee, hand), cornerback Marcus Peters (illness), tackle Jah Reid (knee, ankle), and running back Charcandrick West (ankle). Of those four players, however, Reid appears to be the most questionable for Sunday night’s game at Heinz Field against the Steelers, according to various media reports.
Limited for the Chiefs on Wednesday were running back Jamaal Charles (knee), guard Parker Ehinger (concussion) and cornerback Phillip Gaines (knee). While Charles certainly could wind up making his 2016 debut Sunday against the Steelers, the general belief of many the beat writers who cover the Chiefs is that he will be held out another week being as Kansas City has their bye in Week 5.
Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Chiefs were linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring) and guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (ankle).
