Season 6, Episode 129 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd again and we start things off by discussing the Instagram comments that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell made late Sunday night cornering his belief that he’ll win his appeal and thus not miss any games in 2016 for allegedly missing multiple drug tests this offseason.
Our talk about the Bell situation carries over into us discussing whether or not the Steelers front office shares any blame when it comes to what has transpired with Bell and wide receiver Martavis Bryant and if the team has any responsibility when it comes to “babysitting” these players and making sure they do not miss any drug test.
The league announced Monday morning that they are satisfied with their PEDS allegations interview with recently retired quarterback Peyton Manning and that they are now ready to move forward with their interviews with the other players that were named in the Al Jazeera report. That of course includes Steelers linebacker James Harrison and three Green Bay Packers players. We discuss whether or not Harrison and those Packers players will indeed wind up meeting with the league later on this week and what the Steelers linebacker is likely to say if he indeed complies with their request.
Alex and I close this show out with a look at the Steelers center and guard group ahead of the team reporting to Latrobe for the start of training camp.
