If you want proof that Seattle Seahawks free agent tackle Russell Okung has visited with the Pittsburgh Steelers, all you need to do is look at his most recent post on Twitter.
Along with a picture of the Steelers six Lombardi Trophies, Okung tweeted, “No decisions yet but this is beautiful.”
The Steelers really know how to put on the dog and pony show whenever free agents come to town and recent reports indicate that Okung is one of three free agent tackles that the Steelers are bringing in for visits.
It will be interesting to see if Okung is signed by the end of the day as I doubt the Steelers are willing to offer him top-dollar. The former first-round selection of the Seahawks has spent his entire career with Seattle and has made 72 regular season starts over the course of the last 6 years.
In addition to bringing Okung in for a free agent visit, the Steelers reportedly also have unrestricted free agent tackles Ryan Harris and Chris Hairston lined-up to come to Pittsburgh as well as their own free agent, Kelvin Beachum, continues to make his visits.
Speaking of Beachum, it appears as though he ran into Okung on Sunday. That must have been awkward.
