If you are around my age or a little bit older, you certainly remember the Coca-Cola commercial that featured Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Joe Greene that first appeared in October 1979 and was shown again during Super Bowl XIV in 1980. That commercial, which featured Greene giving his game-worn jersey to a young kid after he had given him his bottle of Coke, has stood the test of time.
In the upcoming Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2016 special that will air on CBS, a reunion between Greene and Tommy Okon, who played the young kid in the commercial, will be shown and it features the two reminiscing about the filming the Clio Award-winning commercial. Greene will reportedly recall having to drink 18 bottles of Coke during the shoot during the reunion.
The special will be shown on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. ET and below is the teaser video that’s floating around.
