The Denver Broncos have released their Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s divisional playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and it shows that only two players failed to practice earlier in the day.
Sitting out again on Thursday were guard Robert Myers (illness) and quarterback Brock Osweiler (knee). It will now be interesting to see if Osweiler is healthy enough to dress Sunday as the backup behind starter Peyton Manning now that he’s missed two practices in a row following an off week.
Limited on Thursday for the Broncos were guard Max Garcia (groin), cornerback Chris Harris Jr. (shoulder), safety Darian Stewart (hamstring), and linebacker DeMarcus Ware (knee). Garcia sat out Wednesday so he’s moving in the right direction. Harris, Stewart and Ware were all limited on Wednesday as well.
Practicing fully on Thursday were tight end Owen Daniels (knee, knee), linebacker Todd Davis (shoulder), defensive end Malik Jackson (illness), quarterback Peyton Manning (foot), linebacker Brandon Marshall (ankle), linebacker Von Miller (illness), and safety T.J. Ward (ankle). All seven of those players are expected to play against the Steelers.
