Season 6, Episode 66 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, co-host David Todd and I get right to recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers disgusting Sunday road loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
While there is certainly a lot of blame to go around for what happened Sunday in Baltimore, David and I talk first about how Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger deserves a lot of it for his play against the Ravens. We talk about several of his missed throws and poor decisions in the game and whether or not he was out of sync due to the offense running the football early on.
We talk about the disappointing play of wide receivers Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton on Sunday in addition to talking about how the Steelers offensive line played as a whole.
We eventually get to talking about the play of the Steelers defense on Sunday and what needs to change with that unit in 2016. We discuss several of the plays they gave up Sunday to backup Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett.
After thoroughly ripping up both sides of the football, David and I discuss head coach Mike Tomlin and his history of losing to teams with losing records.
We close things out by going over the few scenarios in which the Steelers can make the playoffs after losing to the Ravens.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
