Steelers Versus Broncos: Week 15 Projected Inactive List

The (8-5) Pittsburgh Steelers will play host to the (10-2) Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field and as usual, here is my weekly guess at what the seven-player inactive list might look like when it is released 90 minutes before kickoff.

Mike Vick – You can go ahead and pencil in Vick to be inactive for the remainder of the regular season as Landry Jones is clearly the team’s backup to Ben Roethlisberger right now.

Byron Stingily – Stingily was signed back in Week 7 and has still yet to dress for a game. That’s not going to change at home Sunday against the Broncos.

L.T. Walton – As long as the Steelers defensive line stays healthy, there’s no reason for Walton to dress. If you are scoring at home, and I know that you are, the Steelers sixth-round draft pick has played all of 29 defensive snaps this season.

Jacoby Jones – Jones was inactive last weekend for the first time since he was claimed off waivers and it’s doubtful; that he gets back in good graces on Sunday. Jones is dead weight right now being as he’s just a return specialist.

Jordan Todman – What a difference a few weeks can make. Todman has been inactive for the last two games as Fitzgerald Toussaint has been the apple of the coachman staff’s eye since he was promoted from the practice squad. There’s currently no reason to think that changes on Sunday.

Sammie Coates – Coates hasn’t dressed for the Steelers last three games and with the players ahead of him on the depth chart all healthy, there’s no reason to think the third-round draft pick will be given a helmet on Sunday.

Anthony Chickillo – The Steelers probably aren’t going to dress 10 linebackers on Sunday and assuming Bud Dupree is allowed to dress with his lower back/tailbone injury, Chickillo figures to be the odd man out for a second week in a row.
