The (7-5) Pittsburgh Steelers will play the (10-2) Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon and as usual, here is my weekly guess at what the seven-player inactive list might look like when it is released 90 minutes before kickoff.
Mike Vick – Nothing new to see here as this should be the seventh game in a row that Vick is on the inactive list. Vick hasn’t dressed since injuring his hamstring back in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. Landry Jones will be the No. 2 on Sunday.
Byron Stingily – Stingily still hasn’t dressed for a game since he was signed back in Week 7 and that’s very unlikely to change Sunday against the Bengals. Chris Hubbard and Doug Legursky have been the Steelers reserve offensive linemen since early on in the season.
L.T. Walton – Walton has been on the inactive list quite a bit this season and with everyone ahead of him on the depth chart full;y healthy right now, he’s unlikely to dress again this Sunday.
Jacoby Jones – With Jones being benched and demoted this past week after multiple fumbles Sunday night, there’s no reason for him to dress against the Bengals as Markus Wheaton and Antonio Brown are slated to be the returners against the Bengals.
Sammie Coates – The Steelers rookie hasn’t dressed the last two weeks and even with Jones expected to be down on Sunday, it’s still hard seeing him getting a helmet.
Jordan Todman – Todman was a surprise inactive last week as Fitzgerald Toussaint got the helmet instead. This was apparently a performance related move so we’ll go ahead and guess that the depth chart will remain the same this week with Todman being down once again.
Anthony Chickillo – With Sean Spence expected to be back Sunday and Terence Garvin now fully healthy, we might see Chickillo back on the inactive list this week as there’s no reason to dress 10 linebackers.
