The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Baltimore Ravens Sunday with a very healthy 53-man roster as indicated by their Thursday injury report that was released at the conclusion of practice.
Practicing fully on Thursday were safety Mike Mitchell (shoulder), linebacker James Harrison (not injury related), and cornerback William Gay (not injury related). Mitchell continues to fight through a shoulder injury that he reaggravated during Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos. Barring any setbacks, Mitchell, who sat out Wednesday’s practice, should play Sunday against the Ravens.
The Steelers did add tight end Matt Spaeth (knee) and safety Will Allen (not injury related) to their injury report on Thursday, however, as both were given maintenance days off. Spaeth has battled knee inflammation for several weeks so it’s not a surprise that he was given Thursday off.
