The Denver Broncos have now released their Wednesday injury report ahead of their Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and includes nearly half of their 53-man roster
Not practicing Wednesday were running back C.J. Anderson (ankle), tight end Owen Daniels (knee, knee), linebacker Todd Davis (shoulder), guard Evan Mathis (ankle), linebacker Lerentee McCray (hamstring), safety Darian Stewart (hamstring), and safety T.J. Ward (ankle).
Limited in Wednesday’s practice for the Broncos were safety Omar Bolden (hamstring), safety David Bruton (knee), wide receiver Andre Caldwell (quadricep), wide receiver Bennie Fowler (ankle), wide receiver Cody Latimer (hamstring), quarterback Peyton Manning (foot), and linebacker Danny Trevathan (concussion).
Practicing fully on Wednesday were tackle Ryan Harris (knee), running back Ronnie Hillman (foot), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (finger), defensive end Vance Walker (shoulder), linebacker DeMarcus Ware (back), and defensive tackle Sylvester Williams (ankle).
Wow, that’s quite a list and it will be interesting to see how many players that failed to practice Wednesday are able to go in some capacity on Thursday.
Even though Manning has resumed practicing, the Broncos will start Brock Osweiler at quarterback against the Steelers.
