Regardless of what happens in the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon game against the Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs will exit Week 15 as the No. 5 seed in the AFC after easily beating the Baltimore Ravens 34-14 on the road.
Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith completed 21 of 25 pass attempts against the Ravens for 171 yards and a touchdown. The Ravens turned the football over three times in the game and two of them were returned by the Chiefs defense for touchdowns,
The Ravens also lost cornerback Jimmy Smith early in the game to a thigh injury. Baltimore will host the Steelers next Sunday while the Chiefs will host the lowly Cleveland Browns.
Should the Steelers beat the Broncos Sunday afternoon, they will become the No. 6 seed in the AFC as they will leap over the New York Jets by virtue of the common games played tiebreaker.
