The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a disgusting 20-17 road loss Sunday to the Baltimore Ravens and with that their playoff hopes took a big hit thanks to the New York Jets beating the New England Patriots in overtime.
The Steelers will enter Week 17 as the No. 7 seed in the AFC thanks to what transpired on Sunday and that now means they will need to beat the Cleveland Browns next week and hope that the Buffalo Bills can somehow upset the Jets, or that the Denver Broncos lose out.
Sunday’s loss also now means that Cincinnati Bengals have won the AFC North. They will play the Broncos Monday night and will close out their 2015 regular season next Sunday against the Ravens.
In the end, the Steelers have no one to blame but themselves as they only needed to win out in order to make the playoffs.
