Season 6, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I get things rolling by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers short injury report coming out of the bye week based on what head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday during his weekly press conference.
After running down the injuries, David and I discuss the future of tackle Mike Adams, who will now end the 2015 season right where it started, on the Steelers Reserve/PUP list.
We move on to start previewing the Steelers upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks and specifically what the defense needs to do in order to shut down quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Thomas Rawls, who will be starting in place of the injured Marshawn Lynch.
Along the way, David and I discuss Steelers rookie wide receiver Sammie Coates and whether or not he’ll play much during the team’s final six games of the season. Additionally, we discuss the contributions made this year by the Steelers rookie draft class so far this season.
David and I then discuss the Tuesday news related to the benching of Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and whether or not he’ll be back in 2016. We also dedicate a few minutes to talking about Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and whether or not he’ll be back in 2016.
We look at the Steelers chances of getting one of the two AFC Wild Card spots this year in addition to which team has the best shot at securing the other one We close up this episode by answering a few questions that came in on Twitter from a few of our loyal listeners before giving you our picks for the Thanksgiving games.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
