The inactives for Sunday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns have now been announced and as a report late last night suggested, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is dressed for the game and thus is active. He is expected to serve as the team’s backup quarterback to Landry Jones.
As expected, the Steelers list of seven inactives includes four players who will miss the game against the Browns due to injuries and they are linebacker Terence Garvin and tight end Matt Spaeth, linebacker James Harrison and safety Shamarko Thomas.
Rookie tight end Jesse James will dress for the second time this season with Spaeth out. New running back Isaiah Pead will not get a helmet once again.
