So you’re saying there’s a chance the Pittsburgh Steelers can still win the AFC North? Well, not really, but nobody really gave the Houston Texans a chance to beat the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night. Being as that happened, I suppose anything is still possible when it comes to the division.
The Bengals fell from the undefeated ranks at home thanks to their 10-6 loss to the Texans. However, they still remain easily atop the AC North division and thanks to their win a few weeks ago at Heinz Field, they have a four-game lead over the Steelers in the loss column.
The Steelers were the only AFC North team to win this past week, however, as they beat the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars on a last-second field goal.
The Steelers are on a bye in Week 11 while the Bengals have a very tough road game on Sunday night against the Arizona Cardinals. Should the Bengals lose to the Cardinals, they will still own a three game lead over the Steelers thanks to them winning the head-to-head game a few weeks ago.
The Bengals remaining schedule also includes games against the St. Louis Rams, Browns, Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, and Ravens. The Steelers remaining games are against the Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts, Bengals, Broncos, Ravens, and Browns.
It aint over until it’s over, but the Steelers are still going to need a lot of help in order to win the AFC North this year. As always, they better just focus on running the table and let the rest of the chips fall as they my.
