Season 6, Episode 30 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I get right to recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers disgusting 23-20 loss Thursday night to the Baltimore Ravens.
As you would expect, the first part of the show is dedicated to Steelers kicker Josh Scobee, who missed two field goals in the game. Is it time to dump him? Will the Steelers take any action this week? We certainly hammer that topic.
We move on to talk about the decisions and play calls made in overtime by the Steelers coaching staff and how big the failed third and fourth down plays were. We over analyze it all as only we know how to do.
While the Steelers defense played well enough to win at certain points during the game, they still gave up nearly 200 yards rushing and that’s concerning. We talk about all of the missed tackles in the game Thursday night and how that’s becoming a common theme.
How did Mike Vick play Thursday night? Good enough to win, or good enough not to lose. We throw some failed completion stats at you and also analyze a few of his good and bad throws in the game.
We go over the promotion of the recent promotion of linebacker Anthony Chickillo in this podcast and also look forward to the return this week of wide receiver Martavis Bryant.
We are so busy in this episode that we forget to give our Week 4 picks, but I’m sure you don’t mind that too terribly.
