In addition to bringing in free agent kicker Kai Forbath for a tryout in the coming days, the Pittsburgh Steelers will also reportedly bring in free agent kicker Chris Boswell for a tryout as well
Boswell, who kicked collegiality at Rice, was most recently a member of the New York Giants during the preseason. He failed to make their roster, however and was released prior to the start of the regular season.
In 2014, Boswell was with the Houston Texans during the offseason but again failed to win the kicking job.
At Rice, Boswell made 73.9% of his 88 field goal attempts.
The Steelers are looking for yet another kicker after veteran Josh Scobee missed two more field goal attempts Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
