Season 6, Episode 29 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I get right to previewing the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night game against the Baltimore Ravens.
In addition to going over the injury reports heading into Wednesday for both teams, David and I discuss what quarterback Michael Vick likely needs to Thursday night in order to lead the Steelers to victory.
Will injured starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger be allowed to help out on the Steelers sideline Thursday night, or will he be banished to the upstairs booth instead? We discuss that as well as the changes that offensive coordinator Todd Haley is having to make this week being as Vick is left-handed.
We look at the grading system used by Pro Football Focus this week that resulted in Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers having a very mediocre final score as that seems to be a national talking point this week. Additionally, we examine the debate as to whether or not Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones should be considered the best in the league at his position in addition to whether or not the 5/50 streak that Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has going is silly.
In the second half of this show, David and I welcome John Eisenberg back to the show once again. John covers the Ravens for the team’s official website and as usual, he provides his great insight on a 0-3 Baltimore team heading into the game against the Steelers. You can bet we hit all three phases of the Ravens team in this great interview. David and I close out this show by giving you our predictions for the Thursday night game.
