The first official injury report of the 2015 NFL season is now out ahead of Thursday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots and a total of six players are listed on it.
For the Steelers, third string quarterback Landry Jones (concussion) is the only player listed on the injury report as he failed to practice Monday due to the concussion he received late in the preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers. This means that linebacker Lawrence Timmons, safety Mike Mitchell and defensive end Stephon Tuitt all practiced fully. All three players missed extensive playing time during the preseason with injuries so this is definitely good news.
For the Patriots, starting center Bryan Stork (concussion) failed to practice Monday. Safety Tavon Wilson (quadricep) was limited while running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring) and defensive end Trey Flowers (knee) are both listed as practicing fully.
