Final Thoughts

– You can see the first teamers getting more reps as camp comes to a close. Ben Roethlisberger dominated the reps the last few days.

– Cameron Stingily, despite no longer being a Steeler and missing the last four practices, still has a seven carry lead over Bell for the leader on the team.

– Markus Wheaton has one fewer catch over the last four practices as he did in the first thirteen combined. Obviously, him missing time with injury plays a big role in that, but he’s stringing together some strong practices. Over the last four, he’s caught 12 of 13 passes for four touchdowns. The only incompletion was a Roethlisberger misfire on a screen. Wasn’t Wheaton’s fault.

– It’s pretty amazing how often Gardner was targeted. Like Stingily, he hasn’t been with the team the last four practices, obviously being waived/injured, and is still fifth in targets.

– Still only two interceptions for the safeties, neither by a player who is expected to play a snap on defense in 2015.
