Season 6, Episode 14 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start off by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers decision to sign quarterback Michael Vick and offensive lineman Doug Legursky on Tuesday. The Vick signing is very controversial so we give you our straight forward thoughts on him as a player on the field as well as off.
With center Maurkice Pouncey now expected to be out for at least half the season, David and I talk about the state of the Steelers offensive line. That includes us talking about the strengths of both Legursky and Cody Wallace moving forward.
The Pouncey injury will force the Steelers to make some interesting decisions as it relates to their initial 53 man roster and we go over why that is. It’s sure to have some initial trickle-down effects somewhere.
David and I move on to give our final thoughts on the Steelers preseason win Sunday over the Green Bay Packers and that includes us talking about a few players we thought played well in addition to a few who we think struggled. We both are still concerned about the Steelers defense for obvious reasons.
Now that Bruce Gradkowski has been placed on injured reserve, David and I speculate as to whether or not he’s taken his final snap in a Steelers uniform.
Injuries have forced David and I to talk about the Steelers first four games of the upcoming season so we throw out record predictions for the first quarter of the 2015 schedule based on the way we feel right now with two weeks remaining in the preseason.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
