As devastating as the loss of Shaun Suisham is, all the Pittsburgh Steelers can do is find another kicker. That process will start tomorrow in Latrobe. The team is expected to bring in Alex Henery, Jay Feely, and Garrett Hartley in for tryouts tomorrow, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Hartley played in two games for the Cleveland Browns last year, making all three of his field goals. The 39 year old Feely made three of four with the Arizona Cardinals while Henery struggled mightily, converting just one of five kicks in two game spent with the Detroit Lions. He does have arguably the best leg of the three, however.
It’s likely these players will be brought in during the morning, with the winner signing a contract and being on the field for the team’s 2:55 practice.
