The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the toughest schedule in 2015 based on their opponents’ records from last season. That schedule, which was released Tuesday evening, also includes a tough final six games.
Following their Week 11 bye, the Steelers will begin the final third of their 2015 schedule and it includes games against the Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. Last season, those six teams, combined, posted a 62-33-1 record with five of the them registering 10 or more wins.
Additionally, two of those final six games will be played in prime-time and on the road against the Seahawks and the Ravens. If that’s not enough, three of the Steelers final four games will be on the road.
Last season, the Steelers went 5-1 in their final six games and it resulted in them winning the AFC North. In 2013, the team went 4-2 in their final six games and they finished the year with a second consecutive 8-8 record.
If the Steelers are going to return to the playoffs again in 2015, they’ll more than likely have to win four of their final six games with three of those wins coming against the teams in their division. That stretch certainly figures to be a tough one as we sit here in April.
