According to a release sent out Tuesday evening by the NFL, 26 top-rated prospects, who are expected to be selected on Thursday or Friday night, have confirmed that they they will be attending the 2015 NFL Draft at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Below is an alphabetical listing of the 26 players and as you can see, Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Amari Cooper and Marcus Peters are all absent from the list of attendees.
In total, there will be three cornerbacks present in Chicago as Trae Waynes, Kevin Johnson and Byron Jones have all decided to attend. All three of those players are perceived as being potentially the Pittsburgh Steelers selection in the first round.
The NFL Draft, which had been held in New York since 1965, returns to Chicago for the first time since 1964. Chicago served as the location for the NFL Draft in 1938, 1942-44, 1951, and 1962-64.
