Season 5, Episode 87 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd get right into talking about the decision made Tuesday night by Pittsburgh Steelers free agent linebacker Jason Worilds to retire after playing just five years in the league.
With Worilds now out of the picture, David and I discuss the few edge rushers that remain unsigned and whether or not the Steelers will have interest in any of them.
The Steelers are brining running back DeAngelo Williams in for a visit on Friday so that news gets a little bit of our time. We also talk about the Steelers re-signing several players on Monday in addition to releasing defensive end Brett Keisel.
We move on to talk about how wild the first day of the new league year was and discuss several moves that were made. When talking about the Tuesday trade made by the New Orleans Saints, we make sure to talk about what cornerback Keenan Lewis had to say. Will the Saints trade him?
As you would expect, we cant help but to talk about the trade made Tuesday by the Philadelphia Eagles. We promise to try to talk about the Eagles less during the podcast moving forward, but it’s really a great topic right now early on in the offseason.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
