The Pittsburgh Steelers have only signed one outside free agent so far this offseason and it doesn’t sound like many more signings are on the way.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Steelers team president Art Rooney II said Friday he’s not expecting the team to have a “lot more activity” in free agency, but did add that they will continue to look for players.

When you look at the ,list of unsigned free agents at this stage of the signing period, you can clearly see why the Steelers might very well be close to being done. The two cornerbacks that they had in for visits dating back to last Friday, Patrick Robinson and Sterling Moore, have now both signed with new teams.
While I’m sure there will be a few more signings over the course of the next several weeks, those will more than likely wind up being one-year deals for the minimum.
In my opinion, the Steelers should keep close tabs on linebacker Sam Acho and defensive end Alex Carrington, as they are two unrestricted free agents that might be able to be added after June 1 for the minimum.
