Season 5, Episode 73 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd sidelined on this Monday, Alex Kozora is again kind enough to sit in for him. Early on in this episode we discuss the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2015 that now includes former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis. We talk about Bettis’ election as well as several others who made it in this year. We also discuss a few that failed to make it in this year and also talk about the future chances of several other Steelers players who will soon be eligible.
There’s a good chance that the Steelers will play in the Hall of Fame game this year as well as the regular season Thursday night opener against the New England Patriots. We discuss both of those topics and also bring you up to speed on the Steelers newest player who was recently signed to a futures contract. Wide receiver Lance Moore reportedly wants out of Pittsburgh after one season and we don’t blame him for asking for his release.
The Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night in Super Bowl XLIX and Alex and I have plenty to say about the game. We start with the Seahawks final offensive play that resulted in an interception and move back through the game from there. We throw quite a few stats at you and at the end of the show Alex tells you which draft prospects he hopes to break down this week on the site.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
