The New England Patriots had their championship parade Wednesday and not only did it look like running back LeGarrette Blount had a good time celebrating during the festivities, he also managed to take a shot at Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in the process.
Blount, who signed back with the Patriots after being waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers for walking off the field prior to the Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans ending, because he was unhappy with the way he was being used, was photographed several times Wednesday holding up a “Bitch Mode” t-shirt that included Lynch’s No. 24 on it.

That’s an example of the pot calling the kettle black if you ask me, but I guess beauty is always in the eye of the beholder as I’m willing to bet that Patriots fans loved Blount’s classless gesture.
While Blount did rush for 189 yards and three touchdowns on 47 carries for the Patriots during the playoffs, 148 of those yards and all three scores came in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts on 30 carries. In the win over the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, Blount played all of 23 snaps and rushed for 40 yards on 14 carries.
It will be interesting to see what the future now holds for Blount. He is set to earn a $750,000 base salary in 2015 with the Patriots and is also due offseason roster and workout bonuses that total out at $250,000. There’s also a chance he could be suspended for at least one game at the start of the 2015 season due to him being initially charged with possession of marijuana when he and Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell were pulled over last August by police in Ross Township.
As for Lynch, he can afford a lot more of those “Bitch Mode” t-shirts than Blount can as he is currently scheduled to earn $7 million next season with the Seahawks, who are reportedly currently trying to sign him to a long-term extension.
Stay classy, LeGarrette.
