Wednesday was National Signing Day and former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Merril Hoge had two immediate family members sign with colleges.
Beau Hoge, Merril’s son, signed with BYU. He played quarterback at Highlands High School in Kentucky. Tristen Hoge, Merril’s nephew, signed with Notre Dame. He is considered one of the top center prospects in the country.
