Season 5, Episode 67 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd out of action on this Friday, I am again joined by Alex Kozora. Alex and I start off by talking about the new veteran NFL combine that will take place in March and whether or not we think it’s a good idea. We also briefly discuss the Thursday signing of offensive lineman Mitchell Van Dyk to get things rolling.
We have both had more time to think about some of the things new Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Keith Butler might do differently moving forward so we share that speculation with you. Will the Steelers linebackers drop less and the secondary use more pattern reading? We discuss that and even go over the drop percentages of the Steelers outside linebackers from 2014.
Alex has already finished his first two player profiles for the 2015 NFL Draft and we both go over what we have seen on tape out of Minnesota tight end Maxx Williams and Florida State cornerback P.J. Williams.
The conference championship games will take place on Sunday so Alex and I make sure to save enough time at the end of the show to tell you who we thinks wins what game and why.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
