The Baltimore Ravens didn’t waste any time filling their open offensive coordinator position as the team has decided that former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman will be the one to replace Gary Kubiak, who was named the new head coach of the Denver Broncos this week.
Trestman was fired last month by the Bears after two seasons as their head coach, went 5-11 in 2014 after having a top-10 offense in 2013.
Trestman will be the Ravens fourth offensive coordinator in as many seasons and he’ll now work with quarterback Joe Flacco , who is coming off his best year of his career
Trestman has eight seasons worth of experience as an offensive coordinator in the NFL. The last time he held that title with an NFL team was with the Oakland Raiders from 2002-2003.
