The Baltimore Ravens will play the Pittsburgh Steelers Saturday night in an AFC Wild Card Game at Heinz Field and they’ll do so without the services of starting left tackle Eugene Monroe (ankle), who will miss the game with an ankle injury.
With Monroe out once again, the Ravens will start rookie undrafted free agent James Hurst at left tackle and that means guard Marshal Yanda will likely start at right tackle once again. Hurst has played well this season when asked to start in place of Monroe, so his matchup against Steelers linebacker James Harrison should be a good one.
Also ruled out for the Ravens on Friday were linebacker Arthur Brown (hamstring) and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (foot, ankle). Jernigan’s absence will be eased with the return of defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who was reinstated this week after serving a four game suspension.
Ravens defensive end Chris Canty (ankle, thigh) is expected to play against the Steelers after ending the week listed as probable.
