Season 5, Episode 54 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into talking about how Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-20 Sunday in the Georgia Dome to move to 9-5 on the season.
As usual, David and I cover both sides of the football as we go back through the game together. We talk about the new records set by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le’Veon Bell in the game and how all three made significant contributions against the Falcons.
We discuss the roughing the passer penalty on linebacker Jason Worilds in addition to a few missed holding calls on Falcons wide receiver Roddy White.
On defense, the Steelers found a new way to give up double explosive plays against the Falcons and we discuss that in addition to several individual performances both good and bad on that side of the football.
If the Steelers win next week at home they will clinch a playoff spot and that’s worth highlighting.
What will the Steelers do with linebacker James Harrison once he’s fully healthy? We discuss that and give you a few different things to think about this week as it relates to that.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
