The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night at Heinz Field with the AFC North title going to the game winner. The Steelers opened up as 3.5-point favorites over the Bengals prior to the game going off the board at most online betting sites.
The reason the game is likely off the boards right now is because Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a bruised arm in the Monday night win over the Denver Broncos. Green said after the game that he took a helmet to one of his biceps early in the first quarter and that it stiffened up on him as a result.
While Green did manage to return to the Monday night game several times after suffering the injury, he was mostly used as a decoy and thus ended the night without registering a reception.
Green went on to say after the game that he expects to be ready to face the Steelers Sunday night.
“Yeah, I think I’ll be fine … It’s a little bruised right now,” he said.
The Bengals are 3-13 all-time in Sunday night games and three of their losses have come against the Steelers. Their last win on Sunday night came against the Miami Dolphins in 2004 and they’ve lost six straight since then.
