The Baltimore Ravens have released their first injury report of the week as they prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers Saturday night in an AFC Wild Card game at Heinz Field.
Sitting out Wednesday were linebacker Arthur Brown (thigh), defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (foot, ankle) and tackle Eugene Monroe (ankle).
If Monroe is unable to play Saturday night against the Steelers, rookie James Hurst will likely get the start once again at left tackle. Hurst has started five games this season in place of Monroe and in the 386 snaps that he’s played so far this season, he’s allowed three sacks.
Practicing fully for the Ravens Wednesday was defensive Chris Canty (ankle, thigh), who missed the game last Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Only four players were listed on the Ravens Wednesday injury report.
