The Cincinnati Bengals became the second AFC North team to clinch a playoff spot in Week 16 and they did so by beating the Denver Broncos 37-28 Monday night.
The Bengals, who moved to 10-4-1 on the season with the win, will play the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night at Heinz Field for the AFC North title.
In addition, if the Steelers beat the Bengals, they will host a first round Wild Card game at Heinz Field. Due to the outcome of all ofd the games in Week 16, the Steelers will now either be the No.3 or No. 5 seed in the AFC.
One of the Bengals primary offensive weapons did suffer an injury Monday night in the win over the Broncos, however, as wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a bruised arm early in the game. Green tried to return to the game several times but it was obvious that he wasn’t 100%. He did not record a catch in the game.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was 17-of-26 passing for 146 yards Monday night with two touchdowns and one interception. The Bengals offense also rushed for 207 yards in the win.
