The New Orleans Saints have now released their first injury report of the week as they prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at Heinz Field and all four of their running backs are listed on it.
Not practicing Wednesday were running back Khiry Robinson (forearm), linebacker Kyle Knox (hand) and defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (quadricep). Bunkley will likely be placed on the Saints injured reserve list at some point this week as his torn quad injury is expected to end his season.
Limited in Wednesday’s practice were guard Ben Grubbs (neck), linebacker Curtis Lofton (ankle), cornerback Keenan Lewis (knee) and center Jonathan Goodwin (toe).
Practicing fully Wednesday were running back Mark Ingram (shoulder), running back Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder), wide receiver Robert Meachem (ankle) and running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring).
The Saints have lost three straight games heading into their game Sunday against the Steelers with their most recent loss coming Monday night to the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers opened up as three-point home favorites over the Saints earlier in the week.
