Despite only practicing on a limited basis twice this past week, Baltimore Ravens tight end Owen Daniels is active Sunday night for the game at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Daniels had his knee scoped a week ago Friday and while his snaps might be limited against the Steelers, he will be a huge asset for the Ravens inside the red zone.
Back in Week 2, Daniels caught five passes for 28 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens 26-6 win.
With Owens back, it will likely lessen the amount of snaps that rookie tight end Crockett Gillmore has to play. The Ravens are expected to use a lot of heavy personnel packages Sunday night against the Steelers just as they did back in week 2.
