Are you ready for the throwbacks?
The Pittsburgh Steelers will wear their 1934 throwback uniforms Sunday at Heinz Field when they host the Indianapolis Colts.
The black and gold striped jerseys were brought back originally during the 2012 season to celebrate the Steelers 80th season in the NFL. They were worn that season in the Steelers home games against the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens and again last season home against the Detroit Lions. The Steelers went 2-1 in those three games with their only loss coming against the Ravens.
In addition to the jerseys that resemble bumble bee prison uniforms, the team is also expected to wear the tan football pants that they have worn in the past when wearing the throwbacks.
Does anyone know if Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is a apiphobiac?
