The Florida State Seminoles came back to beat the Louisville Cardinals 42-31 Thursday night and Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert was on hand to see the game.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Colbert was one of about a dozen NFL GMs that attended the game at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in Louisville.
It’s hard to know who Colbert had his eye on the most Thursday night, but Florida State underclassmen cornerbacks P.J. Williams and Ronald Darby are two players I bet the Steelers general manager was watching closely.
Louisville cornerback Charles Gaines is also an intriguing prospect and quite a few general managers were likely on hand to watch Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston and Cardinals wide receiver DeVante Parker.
As the college football season progresses, I’m sure we’ll start to get more Colbert sightings at the big games.
