The Baltimore Ravens have now released their first injury report for the game Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field and it shows that several players failed to practice Wednesday.
Sitting out Wednesday were wide receiver Michael Campanaro (hamstring), running back Justin Forsett (ankle), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shin), cornerback Jimmy Smith (foot), linebacker Terrell Suggs (neck), cornerback Lardarius Webb (not injury related) and guard Marshal Yanda (knee). Smith is expected to miss the next few games with a foot injury suffered this past Sunday.
The Ravens got some good news Wednesday as tight end Owen Daniels (knee) returned to practice in a limited capacity. Daniels underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee just last week, so it is unclear as to whether or not he will be ready to play Sunday night against the Steelers.
Defensive end Chris Canty (wrist) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and is expected to play against the steelers.
