As the Jacksonville Jaguars continue to prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at EverBank Field, their list of injured players continues grow.
Added to the Jaguars injury report Thursday were linebacker Geno Hayes (not injury related) and defensive end Andre Branch (hip). Hayes is reportedly not injured, but there’s a chance Branch may not play Sunday because of a hip flexor injury.
“He’s better today than he was yesterday, so we’re very hopeful on that,” said Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley of Branch, who leads the team with three sacks.
Also not practicing Thursday and expected to miss the game Sunday against the Steelers are cornerback Dwayne Gratz (concussion), wide receiver Marqise Lee (hamstring), wide receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and tight end Mickey Shuler (illness).
Several players were able to practice fully after being limited Wednesday and they are defensive end Ryan Davis (shoulder), defensive tackle Roy Miller (ankle), tackle Austin Pasztor (hand) and fullback Will Ta’ufo’ou (ankle).
