The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move Tuesday as the team has announced that they have terminated the contract of veteran punter Adam Podlesh.
Podlesh had been on the Steelers Reserve/Did Not Report List since the middle of August as he was forced to spend time with his then-pregnant wife, who reportedly was having a difficult pregnancy at the time.
The Steelers originally signed Podlesh on April 15 after he had previously been released by the Chicago Bears.
With Podlesh missing all of training camp, fellow punter Brad Wing easily won the job during the preseason.
